Ideal candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting and at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and have strong organizational and analytical skills.

BVFLS Entry Level Analyst

The Business Valuation, Forensic and Litigation Services (BVFLS) Group of Ellin & Tucker, Chartered has career opportunities available in our Washington, D.C. office for an entry level analyst and an analyst with 1-2 years of experience.

Ellin & Tucker’s BVFLS group performs business valuations for a wide variety of purposes including; estate and gift matters, corporate planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, insurance claims, bankruptcy, Internal Revenue Service and domestic disputes. We provide commercial damage and expert witness services to attorneys and their clients primarily in the areas of intellectual property infringement, breach of contract and shareholder disputes. We also provide forensic accounting services to commercial and government clients.

Entry level analyst candidates should have a degree in accounting with the ability to interact with clients and their legal Counsel. Proficiency in spreadsheet analysis, constructing financial models, and strong writing skills are desirable.

Candidates for the experienced analyst position must have a degree in accounting, have one to two years of public accounting experience (audit is a plus). CPA, MBA, CFA or candidate is desirable.
