X3117 Frank Brodnax is a Principal in the Tax Department of E&T. He is a member of the Real Estate Division of the firm, as well as the firm’s Construction Services Group. Frank is responsible for providing tax planning, tax compliance, and tax advisory services for business and individual clients of the firm. Frank’s expertise includes real estate, construction, software, manufacturing and retail industries, as well as trade associations. He has extensive experience advising real estate clients through the various stages of that industry to include property acquisition, development, operation, and final disposition. Frank has consulted with clients on various types of tax deferred exchanges, including traditional delayed exchanges, improvement and construction exchanges, and reverse exchanges. He has helped clients realize substantial tax savings through cost segregation techniques. He also guides clients through the maze of various accounting methods available to construction contractors involved with long-term contracts to help realize significant financial benefits. Frank is a graduate of the University of Maryland University College where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Public Policy. |
